A six session introduction to the Nicene Creed with accompanying devotions. Open Faith offers a chance think about how the theology of the Church reflects the light of Scripture and assists in forming our minds in accordance with the truth of Gospel.
Freedom in Christ
The Freedom in Christ Discipleship Course aims to help Christians grasp the truth of who they are in Christ, sort out personal and spiritual issues, and become more fruitful in their discipleship. The course emphasises personal responsibility, and the need to make the right choices. The focus is very much on the individual.
The current course is fully subscribed. We will announce the dates of the next course when they are decided.
Picturing the Cross

Art and poems to help us look again at five aspects of Jesus’ work for us on the cross.
There are two opportunities through the week to attend this course. The Monday evening sessions will have more space for discussion and response and the Thursday mornings will come as part of a midweek service.

The CAP Money
CAP Money is a simple, yet highly effective money management course that teaches people budgeting skills and a cash-based system that really works. This course will help anyone to get more in control of their finances, so they can save, give and prevent debt.
This is the Freedom in Christ” message for the millennial generation (18-30s). Exploring and critiquing what the Bible says about important life issues is presented through film clips and discussion.
It includes “the story of the world” “truth and emotions” and “forgiving from the heart”. This course runs on Wednesday at 2.00 – 4.00pm in St Stephen’s

The Alpha Course
Alpha is for anyone interested in exploring questions of life and spirituality.
We spend several sessions considering some of the big questions in life, such as ‘Who is Jesus’, and ‘How Can I Make the Most of My Life?’.
The session starts with food, followed by a short talk, and informal group discussion; sometimes carried on in the pub afterwards.
