Saltmine Theatre Company brings you the story of Sleeping Beauty as you’ve never heard it before…

It’s the royal event of the century – the King and Queen’s only daughter is turning eighteen and everyone is excited. Follow Princess Aurora as she meets a charming prince, a friendly gardener, magical fairies and much more as everyone heads to the woods for the biggest birthday celebration the kingdom has ever seen.

However somebody wants to crash the party, fulfil the curse spoken at the princess’ birth and throw Aurora’s dreams to the dust. Will the princess and her friends give in to the enchanted sleep or will they find the cure to break the curse?

Clap, celebrate, cry with laughter and discover how words can be our greatest gift… and… whatever you do… don’t fall asleep…

Sun 18 December at 5pm.

IMG_7005 Bible Croppedbible teaching courses

Run on alternate Monday evenings 7.30-9.30pm in St Stephen’s until July 2017. Enrolment termly. The courses are:

  • Open Word – which started on 19 September – is presented by Matthew Hutton. It will take us through the whole Bible to see how God’s grand story hangs together and how He speaks to us through the unfamiliar as well as the better-known bits; an adventure rather than a course.
  • Digging Deeper – which started on 26 September – is presented by Freddy Hedley. It will cover the Old Testament, the Gospels and the Book of Acts. The teaching will be interactive and conversational, designed to build strong spritual foundations enabling us to live a powerful, transformative Kingdom-centred life.

Details are at the back of church. You can try each on the first evening without committing to either. There is a cost for Digging Deeper which can be covered by St Stephen’s.
